This fruit has important organoleptic characteristics – its flesh is smooth and melts on the mouth. It is juicy, sugary and perfumed. We grow a number of varieties – from light green to yellow colour. We have middle-size and thicker calibres, both in pear- or balloon-shape. Early and late varieties represent a valid alternative to the overseas imports and have a “carbon footprint” clearly lower.
